Sarah Broughton

Sarah Broughton is the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and oversees all operational functions, including finance and risk matters. 

Prior to joining Deva, Sarah spent 17 years at Starwood Capital Group, most recently as COO and CFO for EMEA and was head of Starwood’s Luxembourg office. In recent years, Sarah led the IPO and ongoing operations of a publicly listed European credit fund and the launch and ongoing operations of several private credit funds and single managed accounts in Europe, Australia and the US. 

Prior to Starwood, Sarah worked at Whitbread plc where she was an FP&A manager, focusing on several large acquisitions and disposals in the hospitality and leisure divisions. Sarah started her career in audit and corporate finance at Andersen and is a chartered accountant and member of the Securities Institute.
