Claudio N. Rechden

Claudio N. Rechden is the firm’s General Counsel and is responsible for oversight of the legal functions of the organization. Claudio has over 20 years of experience in international business transactions.

Prior to joining Deva in 2019, Claudio spent 15 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) where he focused on IFC’s distressed portfolio and litigation matters to become its Lead Counsel for special situations in Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Claudio began his career in private practice at a law firm.

Since 2010, Claudio teaches cross-border debt restructurings at Georgetown Law Center and has taught at Stanford and University of Miami Law Schools. He holds an LLB from the Pontifical Catholic University in Brazil and an LLM from Georgetown Law.
