Alex Radu

Alex Radu is a Managing Director and leads the capital solutions investment strategy in Europe.

Alex has 15 years of experience in special situations, private credit and private equity. 

Alex spent a decade at Goldman Sachs, deploying capital from the $14 billion West Street Strategic Solutions Fund. In this role, he focused on private credit and private equity transactions across Europe. Prior to this, he was part of Goldman’s Special Situations Group, where he concentrated on multi-strategy principal investments in distressed and stressed credit, spanning illiquid and liquid opportunities across the EMEA region. 

Alex’s career began at Morgan Stanley in New York within their merchant banking division. He later transitioned to Blackstone in London, where he focused on opportunities in Emerging Europe.

Alex holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics and Government from Harvard College.
