Adrián Macedo

Mr. Macedo is a Partner and Head of Investments at Phoenix, where he is responsible for leading sourcing & underwriting for debt and equity investments. Previously, Mr. Macedo was a Managing Director at ORIX where he worked with the Chief Investment Officer to source and execute investments to expand the firm’s capabilities in the U.S.

Mr. Macedo is a seasoned investment professional with over twenty years of private equity, private credit and investment banking experience including senior positions at Lone Star Funds (aggregate capital of $95 bn) and ENESA (family office). At Lone Star, he helped deploy close to $4 bn in equity commitments via more than ten different transactions, and at ENESA he sourced, underwrote and managed investments and was the COO of two portfolio companies. Mr. Macedo started his career as an investment banker at UBS and Evercore. Mr. Macedo previously served as a member of the board of directors of Polanco Labs, Dynamic Bulk, Odyssey Infrastructure, P&S Transportation and Prefere Resins and currently serves as director to the board of Arclin, Deva Capital and MonCap.

Mr. Macedo holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from ITESM in Mexico, a Master of International Affairs from Columbia School of International and Public Affairs, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
