Michael Zerda is the firm’s Chief Executive Officer and also serves as Global Head of Real Estate for Santander Alternative Investments. He oversees strategies across real estate debt, real estate equity, and corporate capital solutions.

Michael has over 25 years of experience in real estate, spanning more than 150 transactions and totaling over $10 billion of capital deployed across private equity, credit, and special situations. Before joining Deva, he was European Co-CIO and Head of Debt & Value-Add Strategies at LaSalle Investment Management, where he co-founded its European debt and special situations division. He previously served as Head of Europe for Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies.

Earlier in his career, Michael held investment roles in real estate principal investment and structured finance at Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. He holds a degree in Finance from Texas Christian University.
